Help Bring the Story to Completion

Beyond the Bend is a ministry-funded documentary effort. There is no studio backing this project, only churches and individuals who believe long-term faithfulness is worth investing in.

Production is already underway, and the Yukon River expedition begins in July 2026. Your partnership carries this story from progress to completion.

Why this film needs partners

Producing a documentary of this scope requires far more than a camera and a plane ticket.

The Yukon River expedition involves:

  • Protecting sensitive production equipment in a demanding river environment
  • Transporting and safeguarding cameras, lenses, audio systems, and backup gear
  • Managing large volumes of high-resolution footage with secure storage and redundancy
  • Hundreds of hours of filming, editing, color grading, and sound design
  • Travel logistics, safety planning, and coordination across remote locations

Careful preparation allows us to focus on telling the story well without compromising safety, stewardship, or quality.

This project represents a significant investment of time and resources. Excellence in storytelling requires diligence and care, especially when documenting real lives and real ministry.

What your partnership enables

Why this kind of film matters

Promotional videos and instructional media have their place.

But thoughtful, story-first documentary films remain rare within our churches.

We believe the next generation needs more than momentary motivation. They need careful, well-crafted stories that dignify long-term faithfulness.

Producing work at that level requires intentional investment.
